divider- Soups

Sharpie ultra fine marker, borrowed textures, digital coloring in Photoshop CS2.

This is one of the divider pages for my vegan cookbook, with side tab for speedy location. This, along with all the other illustrated components of my cookbook, will use the same technique of combining scanned ink drawings with blocks of color/texture (which attempt to look like scraps of cloth...sometimes).

I think I prefer the style of that little soup pot over the other divider pages' drawings...it seems like I diverted slightly away from this sort of line-making, and into a smoother, more traditional style with the others...or maybe it's my imagination?
